Rebecca joined Gilbert Walker after completing two years as a Judges’ Clerk at the High Court in Auckland. While a Judges’ Clerk, she assisted with a broad range of civil matters including company and commercial disputes and regulatory proceedings.
While at university, Rebecca participated in the Law Exchange programme at the University of Amsterdam and was a volunteer at the Auckland Community Law Centre. She interned in Ho Chi Minh City, after being awarded a Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Asia. She has previously been a public law tutor at the University of Auckland. In addition to law, Rebecca also holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics.
