Antonio advises on a range of corporate and commercial disputes, with a particular focus on professional liability, property and construction disputes. Prior to joining Gilbert Walker, Antonio worked as a Judges’ Clerk at the High Court in Auckland where he assisted on complex trials concerning trusts, tax and construction. He has since appeared as junior counsel in the High Court and Court of Appeal.
In addition to law, Antonio has an honours degree in engineering and has worked at Beca, one of New Zealand’s leading engineering consultancies. His background gives him particular insight in disputes concerning property, construction and manufacturing.
He was awarded scholarships for corporate law and mediation at the University of Auckland and has won several domestic and international advocacy competitions.
